Dave Atherton has reached the pinnacle of his profession as America’s Master Pipe Maker. Dave's pipes have to heard to be believed. I personally purchased a set in 2008, fully mounted in palm ivory(as above image) and was blown away by the quality of his workmanship. So impressed was I by his pipes, I asked to represent him on this side of the pond and now retail the full range of Atherton bagpipes. The setup is as follows : Warnock wooden chanter,Warnock reed, Rocket drone reeds and sheepskin bag. The sound speaks for itself ;-) Unfortunately, palm ivory is no longer available as an option due to the lack of availability of palm nuts.

African blackwood, half mounted with artificial ivory projecting mounts and bushes.
